Virat Kohli (VK) - Player of ICC World T20 2016

Virat Kohli, won the Player of the Tournament award, International Cricket Council (ICC) announced on Sunday (April 3), on Post Match Presentation following the conclusion of the ICC World Twenty20 2016 at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

Kohli finished as the second-highest run-getter of the tournament, with 273 runs in five innings at a breathtaking average of 136.50. He scored three fifties, which included a highest of 89* in the semi-final against West Indies, who emerged as eventual champions. Kohli was the unanimous choice for the selection panel, comprising Ian Bishop, Nasser Hussain, Mel Jones, Sanjay Manjrekar and Lisa Sthalekar.
Kohli, who won the award for the second successive time, wasn't present in person to collect the prize, but conveyed his message saying he was proud of his achievement. India vs Australia - India Won by 6 Wickets

India won vs Australia on the ground of Mohali. Dhoni made the last run as a boundary on the ball of James Faulkner. Kohli was the man from India who put the match sequence turn around.



Kohli made 82 runs of just 51 balls by making 9 boundaries and two massive sixes all over the ground. Kohli came to ground when Shikhar Dhawan outs cause of Bad shot selection.

Final Ind vs Pak: World Cup 2007 - India Won

The final of the first T20 World Cup where India took Pakistan at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. Gautam Gambhir gave an incredible start and took team India to a fighting total. He made 75 runs of just 54 balls with Strike Rate of 138.88. Rohit Sharma made 30 of 22 balls. India made 157 runs in the final T20 world Cup of 2007.

Yusuf Pathan was the first player who gone to pavalion. He made 15 runs of 12 balls. Robin Uthappa just able to make 8 runs. Star batsmen Yuvraj Singh also can't make his inning big on the finals.

Virat's 55* Played out Pakistan

In a tense and a do-die match India beat Pakistan by 6 wickets and got first win in the ongoing World Cup 2016. Kohli played well and was the hero of the match. He made unbeaten 55 of just 37 balls with strike rate of 148.65. While Yuvraj Singh made 24 runs in 23 balls helped out India from a pressure situation.

Earlier on Pakistan loss the toss from Indian Captain and forced to bat first. The pitch was useful to spin bowler just cause of the rain. Rain also prevented match for sometime and the match overs reduced to 18 overs each. Pakistan started well but slowly as they made just 24 runs in first five overs (Mandatory Powerplay reduced to 5 over due to rain).

On Friday, people enjoyed a high scoring match between England and South Africa at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. South Africa lost the toss and forced to bat first. South Africa batsmens make slashes about all over the ground and entertained a lot to spectators.

WCT20_2016 - Aus vs New Zealand

Australia and New Zealand meet on 18th of March, 2016 at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala for 17th match of World Cup T20 2016. Where New Zealand Won by 8 runs.

New Zealand won the toss and elected to bat first. The Mandatory powerplay (first 6 overs) gone tremendous as they didn't lose a single wicket at 58. At 61 New Zealand lost first wicket in form of Martin Guptill on the first ball of 8th over by Faulkner.

At the ground of Eden Gardens, Afghanistan got Srilanka in the opponent as was fixed (Scheduled). Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bat first.
Captain Asghar Stanikzai of Afghanistan made a considerable half century. He made 62 runs in 47 balls with 3 boundaries and 4 out of the park (sixes). Samiullah Shenwari made useful 31 of just 14 balls with 3 boundaries and 2 sixes. Google have represented ICC World T20 2016 - Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan match which is going to start today at 07:30PM IST at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The design is quite simple and features two sets of Cricket bats painted in the respective team’s colors, and the World Cup in the background.

T20 World Cup: India approved travel of 19 Pak HCO

That's complicated story, India approved travels of 19 Pakistani High Commission Officials for the World Cup T20 matches after refusing Pakistani diplomats a day before and also said they will consider more such requests.

The remarks by External Affairs Ministry Spokesperson Vikas Swarup came even as Indian Deputy High Commissioner to Islamabad J P Singh was called in by the Pakistan Foreign Office and a demarche was made over denying permission to Delhi-based Pakistani diplomats to travel to Kolkata to witness cricket matches being played by the Pakistan team.
Meanwhile, according to Pakistani sources, Pakistan Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry raised the issue with his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar in Pokhara, Nepal where they are attending South Asian Association of Regional Conference (SAARC) meet.

MSD blames batsmen for loss against New Zealand

Indian star captain MSD blamed Indian batting line-up for the shocking loss on Tuesday to New Zealand in their opening match of the ICC World T20, said they erred in the "shot selection".
